For family-law expense records

Verifiable expense records for court review

SharedAnchor helps co-parents produce tamper-evident expense records for court, mediation, and attorney review. Every submitted fact can be traced through an append-only ledger, a SHA-256 hash chain, and a daily Merkle root.

Legal note: copy that states or implies admissibility must be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before public launch.

How the record can be verified

The goal is plain: an attorney, mediator, or court can inspect the export and confirm that a record still matches the ledger SharedAnchor stored.

Append-only ledger

Expense, payment, and custody records are added as new facts. Financial records are not edited in place or deleted after a dispute starts.

SHA-256 hash chain

Each row stores a fingerprint of its own contents plus the previous row. Changing an old record breaks every later fingerprint in the chain.

Daily Merkle root

Every day at 00:05 UTC, the day's record hashes are rolled into one root hash so a full day can be re-verified later.

Independent integrity check

A stronger trail than screenshots

Screenshots are easy to crop, reorder, or lose. SharedAnchor court exports are designed around verifiable data: the record hash proves what was stored, the previous hash proves where it sits in sequence, and the Merkle root proves the day was anchored as a batch.

Questions attorneys and co-parents ask

How does SharedAnchor support court review of expense logs?

SharedAnchor preserves expense records in an append-only ledger, links each record with SHA-256 hashes, and anchors daily batches with a Merkle root. Legal counsel must review any admissibility-related claim before public launch.

Can an attorney verify exported records?

Yes. An export can include the record hash, the prior hash, and the daily Merkle root so an attorney can compare exported records against the ledger contract.

Does SharedAnchor replace legal advice?

No. SharedAnchor organizes co-parenting expense records for court review, but users should consult a licensed family-law attorney for legal advice.
