Getting started
What does SharedAnchor track?
SharedAnchor tracks shared parenting expenses, payment records, custody schedules, and exportable PDFs in one tamper-evident record.
Does my co-parent need a paid account?
No. One family subscription covers the pair, so your co-parent can review expenses, payments, and calendar records without buying a separate plan.
Can SharedAnchor replace legal advice?
No. SharedAnchor organizes records for co-parenting, but it does not provide legal advice or replace guidance from a licensed family law attorney.
How are records protected from tampering?
Financial and custody records use an append-only audit trail with SHA-256 hashes, so later edits or deletions can be detected during verification.
What AI features does SharedAnchor include?
SharedAnchor has a built-in AI assistant that you can ask about your own co-parenting record, plus a forward@sharedanchor.com inbox that turns a forwarded receipt or invoice email into a one-tap expense draft.
Can my attorney query my records from an AI tool?
Yes, with your consent. You can grant your attorney scoped, read-only access from Settings, and the records can then be queried from an authorized AI client. Access is revocable at any time.
Pricing

Do both co-parents have to pay?

What is included in the Basic plan?
Basic includes expense tracking, custody calendar tools, external payment records, court-ready exports, and an append-only audit trail.
Are payment records included?

SharedAnchor shows the monthly Basic price up front. There are no per-parent seat fees in the planned V1 pricing.
How does SharedAnchor pricing compare with OurFamilyWizard?
OurFamilyWizard public pricing starts at $110 per year per parent. SharedAnchor Basic is planned as $7 per month for the pair.
How does SharedAnchor pricing compare with TalkingParents?

How does SharedAnchor pricing compare with 2houses?

Is SharedAnchor a cheap co-parenting app?
SharedAnchor is designed to be a lower-cost co-parenting app for families that need expense tracking, custody records, payment records, and exports without paying two separate subscriptions.
Attorneys and court review
How does SharedAnchor support court review of expense logs?
SharedAnchor preserves expense records in an append-only ledger, links each record with SHA-256 hashes, and anchors daily batches with a Merkle root. Legal counsel must review any admissibility-related claim before public launch.
Can an attorney verify exported records?
Yes. An export can include the record hash, the prior hash, and the daily Merkle root so an attorney can compare exported records against the ledger contract.
Does SharedAnchor replace legal advice?
No. SharedAnchor organizes co-parenting expense records for court review, but users should consult a licensed family-law attorney for legal advice.
