Getting started
What does SharedAnchor track?
The stuff that actually causes co-parenting fights: who paid what, when, and whether it lines up with the custody schedule. Everything lands in one append-only ledger, tamper-evident and exportable as a PDF.
Do I need to pay for my co-parent too?
No. Invite your co-parent and they get full access to expenses, payments, and the calendar under your plan, no separate subscription needed.
Can SharedAnchor replace legal advice?
It can't, and it's not trying to. Use it to keep your records straight. For legal advice, talk to a licensed family law attorney.
How are records protected from tampering?
Every entry gets hashed (SHA-256) into the append-only ledger the moment it's logged. Try to edit or delete something later. Verification catches it.
What AI features does SharedAnchor include?
Ask the built-in assistant about your own records, or forward a receipt to forward@sharedanchor.com for a one-tap expense draft.
Can my attorney query my records from an AI tool?
Your attorney gets access only if you grant it. Read-only, revocable, from Settings. Once granted, their authorized AI client can query the ledger directly.

How much does SharedAnchor cost?
It's $7 a month, and that's the whole household covered, not per parent.
What is included in the Basic plan?
Expense tracking, the custody calendar, payment records, and court-ready exports, plus the append-only ledger underneath it all.
Are payment records included?
Yes, including Venmo. Each payment is logged against the expense it settles, so history stays in sync.
Are there hidden fees?
The $7 price is the whole bill. No per-parent seat charges, no surprise line items, no add-ons.
How does SharedAnchor pricing compare to other co-parenting apps?
OurFamilyWizard runs from $110/year per parent. TalkingParents runs $7 to $32/month per parent. 2houses runs $169.99/year per family. SharedAnchor is $7/month per pair.
Is SharedAnchor a cheap co-parenting app?
Most co-parenting apps charge per parent. We charge one price for the pair.
Attorneys and court review
How does SharedAnchor support court review of expense logs?
Every record gets a SHA-256 hash, and each day's batch is anchored with a Merkle root inside the append-only ledger. That supports court review, but it isn't legal advice. Talk to your attorney about admissibility.
Can an attorney verify exported records?
Exports carry the record hash, the prior hash, and that day's Merkle root, so an attorney can check them straight against the ledger.
