If a mistake needs fixing, the correction is added as visible history that both parents can see. The original submitted record is not silently edited or erased.

It gives both co-parents one shared, tamper-evident record for child-related expenses, receipts, approvals, and outside payment records. Every entry is append-only with a SHA-256 hash chain, so neither parent can silently edit or delete a submitted expense.
How are outside payments recorded?
SharedAnchor records payments made outside the app - Venmo, cash, check, or any other method you already use - without holding or moving funds. Each recorded payment is linked to the expense it settles so the trail stays clear for both parents.
Can an expense be edited after it is submitted?
No. Expenses are append-only. If a mistake is made, you add a correcting entry that both parents can see, so the full visible history is preserved rather than silently overwritten.
