SharedAnchor Connector
Connect your SharedAnchor co-parenting account to Claude or ChatGPT and ask plain-language, read-only questions about your shared expenses, payments, and custody schedule, without opening the app.
What you can do (three read-only tools)
- List expenses: "What did we spend on medical this month?"
- List payments: "Which of our payments are still unconfirmed?"
- Get custody calendar: "Who has the kids next weekend?"
How to connect
Option 1: From the connector directory (easiest)
- In Claude or ChatGPT, open Connectors and find SharedAnchor.
- Click Connect and sign in with your SharedAnchor account.
- Approve the read-only consent screen.
Option 2: Add it manually as a custom connector
If SharedAnchor is not in your directory yet, add it by URL.
- In Claude, open Settings then Connectors then Add custom connector.
- Give it a name (e.g. SharedAnchor) and paste the remote MCP server URL:
https://api.sharedanchor.com/mcp - Click Add/Connect, then sign in with your SharedAnchor account and approve the read-only consent.
Note: custom connectors are available on paid Claude plans; in ChatGPT, add a connector pointing to the same URL.
After: One-tap disconnect anytime from the assistant's Connectors settings.
What it can and cannot access
Access is read-only and limited to your own data. The connector never changes records, moves money, sends messages, or exposes your co-parent's private activity.
Privacy and security
Sign-in uses secure one-tap authorization (OAuth); SharedAnchor never sees your assistant, and your assistant never sees your password. Access tokens are short-lived and you can revoke them anytime. See our Privacy Policy.
Requirements
A free SharedAnchor account. Currently available to US-based accounts.
Troubleshooting and support
- Can't find SharedAnchor in the directory? It may still be in review; use the manual custom-connector steps above.
- Connect fails? Make sure you are signed into your SharedAnchor account and try again.
