Account and profile

This article explains how to reach your account settings and how to edit your profile. It covers opening the Settings screen, changing your name and phone number, and saving your changes. You can do all of this on web, iOS, and Android.

Open Settings

Everything about your account lives on the Settings screen. Open Settings to see grouped sections for your account, payments, co-parenting, the AI assistant, safety, and legal pages. Each row opens a more detailed screen; the top Account section is where your profile and other personal details live.

Edit your profile

From Settings, open Profile to see your full name, your email, and an optional phone number. Change your full name or phone number, then choose Save to keep the change. The Save button stays disabled until your name is filled in, so you cannot save an empty name by accident.

Your phone number is optional and is used for text-message alerts. You can leave it blank, and you can clear it later by emptying the field and choosing Save again.

Your email cannot be changed yet

Your email address is shown on the Profile screen but is read-only. The screen states plainly that email changes are not supported yet, so there is no way to edit it in the app for now. Your email is still how you sign in and how you recover your account, so keep access to it.

States and recovery

While your profile loads you see a brief loading spinner. If the profile cannot load, SharedAnchor shows "Could not load profile. Please refresh." and your details are left unchanged. If a save fails, SharedAnchor shows "Failed to save" and keeps what you typed so you can try Save again.
